You review incoming raw materials, walk through work-in-process assemblies, and compare purchase parts against engineering drawings and specifications. When something doesn't align, you lead corrective action, document nonconformances, and coach teammates on the processes that keep our products performing to ASME standards and our customers' expectations. As a Final Assembly Quality Compliance Inspector at Cleaver-Brooks, you'll collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to safeguard quality from first inspection to final sign-off—sometimes applying high-level troubleshooting to ensure every unit that leaves our floor is ready for the real world. Location Thomasville, GA What you'll do Verify conformance of raw materials, purchased components, and work-in-process to drawings/specifications. Initiate and drive corrective actions for any nonconforming conditions. Train and guide plant personnel on required Quality Assurance procedures and confirm adherence. Support disposition and thorough documentation of nonconforming materials. Partner with plant leadership to refine operating practices that elevate safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Lead problem solving/root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions. Serve as a go-to resource for quality-related questions across the operation. Participate in internal and external ISO and ASME audits. Complete ASME Data Reports as needed. Assist with calibration scheduling and procedures for critical gauges and equipment. What you bring 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred ability to read mechanical drawings and/or wiring diagrams. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems is a plus. Working environment Mix of office and manufacturing floor settings with exposure to welding, machining, and fabrication.
