Full Job Description Position Purpose:
To make sure all products are measured and running within the tolerance of NKC process and product specification according to the operation standards. This position description is not meant to be all-inclusive of any job function. They may change at any given time based on the organizational need.
Essential Duties:
Learn how to read the process and product drawing, collect samples and perform inspections. Use measuring instruments that are required for production. Keep data and samples on file. Make the inspection report for customers. Ensure all measuring devices are calibrated. Proactively participate in Kaizen activities to improve safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery. Report any problems related to safety, quality, personnel, or production to the immediate Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader. Daily communication with relevant departments in order to adhere to all company processes and procedures.
General Duties:
Safety First. To respect the culture of Safety First, to make a safe working environment. Comply with all safety policies and procedures, especially for machine operation and the use of PPE. Selection of nonconforming products when required by management. Daily 5S at shift end. Any other related duties assigned by management.
Equipment Used:
All measuring and testing equipment related to quality. Computer (Google, Microsoft Office, i5, ERP, and Barcode System) Inspection equipment and gauges
Knowledge Skills:
High school diploma or GED. Proficiency in Math. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, AS400, and barcoding system)
Working Conditions:
Part of the position's responsibilities will take place on the "Plant Floor." Free address, either office in the Front Office or Plant office
