Quality Inspector

Job Title:

Quality Inspector Job Description We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to perform inspections and testing of electrical safety materials . Experience in inspection and quality assurance is highly valued. Candidates with at least six months of related experience are preferred. Responsibilities Check in electrician and lineman materials for testing. Visually inspect and clean incoming materials. Assist with packing goods for shipment. Help load and unload materials at the loading dock. Participate in high voltage testing of linemen's gloves and sleeves. Essential Skills Experience in inspection and quality assurance. Attention to detail , particularly for data entry tasks. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and write English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally. Capability to work in an environment involving dust, detergents, solvents, and high voltage test equipment. High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in construction, agriculture, or farming is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a climate-controlled environment with a small team of approximately 20 employees. Tasks are typically performed independently or in small groups of 2-3. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm . Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
