Job Description
Quality SupervisorJob Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead quality inspection and quality management activities within a manufacturing environment. This position will supervise Quality Inspectors while supporting calibration, CMM laboratory operations, nonconforming material processes, and day-to-day quality activities on the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of Quality Inspectors. Oversee daily inspection and quality activities on the manufacturing floor. Monitor compliance with established quality procedures and inspection requirements. Manage tool calibration tracking and measurement equipment controls. Support CMM laboratory operations and coordinate inspection workload. Oversee the identification, documentation, and processing of nonconforming materials. Coordinate quality activities across multiple shifts as needed. Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and operational data. Work closely with manufacturing and other departments to resolve quality issues. Provide hands-on support on the shop floor while also completing administrative and reporting responsibilities. Support overtime and weekend quality coverage when required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Supervisory experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or a similar operational environment. Experience with quality inspection processes and quality fundamentals. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Ability to spend approximately 70% of the time on the manufacturing floor and 30% performing office-based responsibilities. Ability to work primarily first shift with flexibility to provide off-shift coverage. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 2+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience. Previous experience supervising Quality Inspectors. Experience with tool calibration and measurement equipment. Experience supporting CMM laboratory operations. Experience with nonconforming material processes, NCRs, or MRB activities. Experience in a machining, aerospace, automotive, or other precision manufacturing environment.
