Industry-Leading Benefits Control Plan Developer, Manufacturing Dept General Purpose:
To provide support to the NPI (New Product Introduction) team with control plan developmment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production Control Plans for new and revised wire harness and control panel assemblies during NPI. Translate engineered drawings and client specifications into PFMEA-linked cut sheets, termination sheets, inspection criteria, and work instructions. Document required tooling, strip lengths, crimp heights, and process checks using controlled sources and applicable
IPC/WHMA-A-620
criteria. Identify missing, conflicting, or unverified drawing, BOM, and specification information that prevents production release. Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production Complete documentation before first build and PPAP, and support engineering changes.
