Job Description Position Title:
Quality Technician I Wage:
$19.00+/hour
DOE Shift:
1st
Hours:
7:00am-3:30pm Don't miss this great opportunity for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Cedar Rapids, IA. Use your inspection and quality control experience to ensure products meet high standards while supporting continuous improvement. This is a potential to hire role on 1st shift. Quality Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met
  • Approve or reject products based on established quality specifications
  • Pull and prepare product samples for external laboratory testing
  • Conduct quality testing on raw materials and manufactured products
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
  • Identify quality concerns and assist with corrective actions and process improvements
  • Follow GMP, OSHA, safety, and quality procedures
Quality Technician Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quality, manufacturing, laboratory, or a related field
  • Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and quality control procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer and data entry skills; ERP experience preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
