Harness QA Inspector Description:
Assist in the manufacturing production of wire harnesses with primary emphasis being the inspection and quality control of completed wire harnesses.
Responsibilities:
Complete daily inspections of finished wire harnesses prior to shipment to ensure goals are met Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections Follow compliance of AS9100 documentation requirements as applied to production Perform inspection of first article and first piece inspections Record and report on quality issues Support and contribute process improvement ideas Troubleshoot and assist with the repair of issues as needed Work with a variety of equipment and hand tools Comprehend mechanical aptitude and abilities Comprehend and read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints Additional duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements:
Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other employee owners, team leads, and production supervisors Basic math and computer skills Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must have a positive attitude with a customer appreciation mentality Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis Ability to stand and perform repetitive work for long periods of time Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve Operate with a sense of teamwork
