Quality Assurance Inspector

Tapmatic Corporation, world leader in holders for Tapping and Part Marking, located in beautiful North Idaho near Coeur d Alene, has a Full-Time opening in our Quality Assurance Office. Job responsibilities include inspecting parts for conformity to our specifications. You will be working closely with the Shop Foreman and Machinists daily to validate accuracy against our drawings for parts that are being machined or coming back from outside processes or Vendors. Readings and measurements are documented and maintained according to our procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining a database and the calibrations of our company and Employee owned gauges & tooling. The position requires good communication skills, and the ability to interact and work productively with all company personnel in a team environment. Good multitasking and time management skills are a key portion of this job. A minimum of 3-5 years' Quality Control experience is required along with blueprint reading, knowledge of GD&T, and using precise measuring equipment. CNC lathe and / or mill experience is also helpful.
