OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Quality Control Assurance Technician to support quality throughout a heavy manufacturing and remanufacturing operation. This position will perform inspections, verify specifications, identify quality issues, and work closely with production to ensure remanufactured and manufactured components meet customer and company standards. This is a direct-hire position with room for advancement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and weld symbols. Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, and other measuring equipment. Inspect welded, fabricated, machined, painted, and assembled components. Identify, document, and communicate quality issues and non-conforming products. Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation. Work with production to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects. Assist with root cause analysis, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement. Follow company quality and safety procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of quality assurance or quality inspection experience in manufacturing, fabrication, remanufacturing, or a similar industrial environment. Strong blueprint and engineering drawing reading skills. Experience using precision measuring equipment. Knowledge of manufacturing, welding, fabrication, machining, or assembly processes. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic computer and documentation skills. High school diploma or GED required. Heavy equipment or remanufacturing experience, welding inspection, paint/coating inspection, ISO quality systems, or CWI certification is a plus.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
