AS9100 and ITAR registered company Job Description EDMIS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established quality standards and customer specifications Translate customer specifications and applicable standards into comprehensive production documentation Assist in development and maintaining of quality control documentation, including inspection plans, checklists, and control charts Maintain and update QMS documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records Manage a system for all non-conforming components and conduct root-cause analysis. Perform and maintain calibration records Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, engineering, purchasing) to drive continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency while maintaining a culture of quality throughout the organization. Support the preparation for and participation in external audits conducted by regulatory bodies or customers
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality assurance and compliance. Proven experience with inspection tools (Micrometers, comparators, etc.) In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards. Strong understanding and practical application of 6 Sigma methodologies Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently and as part of a team
