Buffalo Grove, Illinois job type: Temporary salary: $21 - 25 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Associate responsibilities: Perform dimensional and visual inspections on medical device components using micrometers, calipers, optical gaging machines, and CMM equipment. Read and interpret complex part drawings, blueprints, and data to determine exact product specifications. Conduct comprehensive lot documentation reviews to ensure strict compliance with cGMP, GDP, and ISO standards. Write nonconformance, rework instruction, and deviation reports when materials fail to meet requirements. Communicate inspection findings with operational leads and recommend corrective actions to maintain continuous improvement.qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality inspection role, ideally within medical device manufacturing. Proficiency using precision measuring tools, gauges, inspection fixtures, and interpreting technical blueprints. Strong working knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and ISO quality standards. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for up to 75% of the 12-hour shift.Preferred:
Associate degree in a technical or quality-related field. Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software productivity tools.skills:
