Responsibilities Assist the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in coordinating and executing objectives to maximize product quality and operating system efficiency while minimizing costs. Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures. Read and interpret part drawings, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection procedures, adjustment methods, and necessary measuring instruments. Analyze test data and perform computations to determine test results. Collect or select samples for testing or use as models. Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products or materials with color charts, templates, or samples to verify conformance to standards. Perform lot documentation review and approval to ensure compliance with procedures and good documentation practices. Reject products and materials that do not meet specifications. Discuss inspection results with responsible parties and recommend necessary corrective actions. Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and work for conformance to specifications. Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status. Measure dimensions of products using tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, force gauges, CMM, and optical gaging machines to verify conformance to specifications. Write reports on nonconformance, rework instructions, and deviations. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
