Quality Inspector Job Description Our client in Buffalo Grove is seeking a Quality Inspector to support production and incoming inspection activities. An quality inspector, you are responsible for performing inspections on components and finished products, identifying quality issues, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements.

Schedule :

+ 1st shift: 6am-2:15pm Monday

• Friday + 2nd shift 2:15pm-10:30pm Monday

Friday Pay :

$18-21.00 per hour, with compensation increase upon 600 hours worked. Responsibilities + Perform visual and dimensional inspections of components and assemblies. + Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify product specifications. + Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. + Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. + Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials. + Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions. + Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns. + Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures. Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required. + Minimum 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools . + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications . + Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Basic computer skills required. Preferred Qualifications + Experience in electronics, medical device, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing environments. + Knowledge of sampling plans and inspection procedures. + Familiarity with ISO or regulated manufacturing environments.
