Performance-to-Hire Performance-to-HireAbout the Company We are hiring for an established manufacturing company in Carol Stream, IL that specializes in the production and processing of pipe and tubular products used across various industrial applications . This is a hands-on manufacturing environment where precision, quality, and attention to detail are essential. Position Overview We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to inspect manufactured parts and ensure products meet established specifications and customer requirements. The primary focus of this position will be final inspection , identifying parts that do not meet acceptable tolerances and communicating quality concerns to the QC Supervisor. Essential Job Functions Inspect manufactured parts with a primary focus on final inspection Verify parts meet specifications and acceptable tolerances listed on work orders Identify parts that do not meet required specifications Perform internal calibration of inspection equipment Document and communicate quality issues as needed Work closely with the QC Supervisor for guidance and support Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work area Handle small parts frequently, generally under 10 lbs. Occasionally lift materials weighing 10 lbs. or more Routinely stand, sit, bend, and stoop throughout the workday Occasionally push and pull materials using pallet jacks Properly use required personal protective equipment Qualifications Previous Quality Control or Quality Inspection experience preferred Manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read and understand work orders and specifications Strong attention to detail Ability to identify deviations from acceptable tolerances Good problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to communicate quality concerns effectively Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE Required PPE Steel-toe safety footwear Safety glasses Hearing protection Pay & Schedule $19.00
