Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Position Overview:
A technical position that contributes to the success of the organization by performing various tasks to measure the quality of products and processes. Identifying opportunities to improve process and products, take direct action to maintain established quality standards as required
Key Responsibilities:
Produce a variety of reports detailing and summarizing test results Assist with In-Process quality control (QC), concentrate on product coming off the production floor Perform visual and measurement inspections on a variety of parts and goods, utilizing blueprints and drawings Continuously audit work areas for identification of the acceptable/rejection of product within the process Advise production supervisors of any observed non-conformities Assist in resolutions and reworks of non-conformities Maintaining lot control traceability documentation during manufacturing process
Requirements:
Technical or undergrad college preferred Ability to accurately perform basic math computations Proficient with computers Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Very good at performing accurate checks and maintained accurate records Ability to follow instructions Combined prior experience in manufacturing, quality control and on the job training Team-player with ability to receive constructive feedback Organized and able to 5S work area Effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers Ability to work independently with high attention to detail, reason through problems involving set-up and operation. Ability to lift and transport parts and products weighing up to 35 lbs on a regular basis
