Description In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Analyze raw materials to assure they meet customer specs for required levels of quality.
- Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
- Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
- Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
- Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
- Perform quality audits of manufactured and purchased parts/products, including inspection of parts against supplied engineering prints, visual inspection, and hardness testing and understanding dimensional theories.
- May set up for destructive and non-destructive tests on materials or parts to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
- May prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis.
- May specialize in particular area of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, inventory control, product reliability, research and development, and administrative application.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows Based Programs.
- Minimum two-year degree or at least two-years of Quality Control Technician experience or related job experience.
