TECH CENTER JOB DUTIES
Prepares samples as required. Prepares required media, chemicals, solutions and supplies for testing. Transports solvents, chemicals, supplies, samples and equipment from storage areas to testing areas. Prepares and assays testing solutions and chemicals as required. Performs testing functions for chemical and physical properties of products as required. Prepares shipment samples for mailing. Stores samples as required. Disposes of samples or materials as required. Monitors plant areas and operations as specified. Maintains records by recording required data. Keeps work area and equipment clean and orderly. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifies on ALL job functions within the main lab and probe operations. Effectively communicates with customers, co-workers and management. 15. Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
PROBE DUTIES
Know and understand the proper sampling methods for trucks per USDA and Bunge procedures. Acquire a USDA warehouse graders license. Report any insect infestation or off quality grain to Commodities or as directed by the Lab manager. Must be able to operate all grain grading equipment needed to complete Bunge required testing. Must be able to complete sample test in a timely manner as directed by management. Must be able to complete chemical testing as required. Must maintain needed records and input data in computer. Keep work area break area, and equipment clean and orderly. Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned. Maintain equipment and make minor repairs as needed. Store and dispose samples as required by Bunge. Qualifies on ALL job functions within the probe operations and main lab. Effectively communicates with customers, co-workers and management. Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements. This position is contingent upon successfully passing Grain Craft's background screening, drug-screening and physical (if applicable).
