Job Title:

Inspector Job Description This position is responsible for inspecting metal stamped parts and products to ensure they meet customer specifications and company quality standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to perform accurate measurements and quality checks in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities Inspect metal stamped parts and products to verify they meet defined customer specifications and internal quality standards. Perform visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate tools such as tape measures and other measuring devices. Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or nonconforming materials in a clear and timely manner. Follow established inspection procedures and quality guidelines to maintain consistent and reliable results. Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records to support quality control and continuous improvement efforts. Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to address inspection issues and support overall product quality. Handle general labor tasks related to inspection activities within the manufacturing environment as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with clean room and safety standards. Essential Skills Experience performing inspection or quality inspection tasks in a manufacturing environment. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for dimensional checks. Strong attention to detail when examining parts and products for defects or deviations. Basic math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verify specifications. Willingness to learn and follow established inspection procedures and quality standards. Capability to perform general labor tasks associated with inspection work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience is preferred and supports success in this role. Familiarity with metal stamped parts or similar production components is an advantage. Comfort working in a structured, process-driven quality control environment. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
