Position Responsibilities Include:
Material Submittals & Approvals Prepare, submit, and track material submittals in accordance with requirements. Ensure all materials meet compliance. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project engineers to obtain required documentation (mix designs, certifications, shop drawings, etc.) Maintain an up-to-date log of all submittals and approvals. Compliance & Documentation Verify materials comply with sources and certifications. Maintain records of material certifications (e.g., steel, concrete, aggregates), mill test reports, buy America compliance (if applicable) Ensure documentation is ready for audits and inspections. Testing & Quality Coordination Coordinate with inspectors and third-party labs for material testing. Track sampling and testing requirements (concrete, asphalt, soils, etc.). Monitor test results and flag any non-compliant materials. Assist with corrective actions when materials do not meet specification. Procurement & Delivery Coordination Work with purchasing and field teams to schedule timely delivery of materials. Monitor inventory levels and ensure no delays to construction activities. Coordinate delivery logistics to align with project schedule and sequencing. Reporting & Communication Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and field staff on material status. Maintain material tracking logs and reports. Collaborate with Project Engineers, vendors and subcontractors Ideal Candidates should meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience in construction/material coordination. Strong understanding of specifications and documentation processes. Familiarity with Material submittal systems (Procore, Primavera, etc.), and construction documentation and QA/QC procedures. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple submittals and deadlines simultaneously. Valid driver's license. Must be able to work independently. Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical concepts. Strong communication skills- both written and verbally.
Pay:
$105,000.00- $180,000.
