Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Quality Control Inspector specializing in CNC Swiss Machining! In this vital role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality and precision are maintained throughout the production process. Your keen eye for detail, combined with your expertise in quality systems and measurement tools, will help us deliver top-tier components that meet strict industry regulations and customer expectations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of CNC Swiss machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Utilize advanced quality management software, to document inspection results, track non-conformances, and support data collection efforts. Perform routine quality audits in compliance with ISO ISO 9001, and As9100 and other relevant standards to ensure adherence to quality systems and regulatory requirements such as FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines. Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for detailed dimensional analysis of complex components. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions aligned with HACCP principles when applicable. Participate in internal and external quality audits, providing accurate documentation and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives. Support the maintenance of calibration records for all measurement tools to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control or inspection of precision machined parts, especially within CNC Swiss machining processes. Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards including
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, HACCP, FDA
regulations, CGMP, and related quality systems. Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Familiarity with Calypso software or similar quality management systems for data collection and analysis. Excellent analysis skills with a keen eye for detail to identify deviations from specifications quickly and accurately. Ability to perform quality audits effectively while maintaining thorough documentation practices.
