Full Job Description Schedule:
5:00AM-3:30pm
Job Summary:
Tests and inspects products at various Stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to detennine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards. Selects products for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities, such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics. Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures. Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. Recorrunends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. May set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, pans, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics. May prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis. May specialize in particular area of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control and production.
Responsibilities:
testing and inspecting product interpret engineering drawings record and analyze test results prepare quality reports, graphs , charts perform/assist with destructive & non destructive tests
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Knowledge of GD&T and SPC Must be able to accurately use and read measuring tools such as comparators, micrometers, calipers, and indicators #HSM125
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
