Opportunity to train and mentor others in Quality Control processes. What's a typical day as Quality Inspector II? You'll be: Performing intricate visual inspections of complex circuit board assemblies and sub-assemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards. Verifying correct machine set-up prior to production runs. Selecting and reading appropriate documentation from a broad range of reference materials. Applying various inspection methods, such as first article checks, sampling, or 100% inspection. Accessing customer quality inspection systems, communicating with customers regarding inspection and quality issues, and conducting Post Pack Audits and Direct Fulfillment in-process Inspections. Determining causes of defects and referring findings for correction. Acting as the final checkpoint for finished goods prior to shipment. Training other employees in Quality Control processes and procedures. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required). Bring prior experience in quality inspection, especially with circuit board assemblies (preferred). Are comfortable operating a personal computer and Windows-based software. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data collection and drawing valid conclusions. Can communicate effectively with managers, clients, and customers. Are able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Are experienced with basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages).
