Quality Inspector A N D Staffing Hoffman Estates, IL Job Details Full-time $19 - $23 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications ERP systems High school diploma or GED Dimensional measurements Attention to detail Precision measurement in machining Root cause analysis Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description Position open in 1st shift in Huntley and Wheeling and 2nd shift in Wheeling only The Inspection Associate performs incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure materials and components meet engineering specifications and customer quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Inspect ball screws and guideways for lead accuracy, pitch deviation, straightness, runout, and other critical characteristics Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records Identify and document nonconforming materials and complete NCRs Assist with RMAs, root cause investigations, and corrective actions Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality to resolve discrepancies Enter work order, production, and quality information into the ERP system Follow established safety, ISO, and quality procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Experience using precision measuring tools Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machined components Basic math skills, including metric measurements and tolerance calculations Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality •Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required. Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
