Itasca, IL Shift:
Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime Available Are you someone who enjoys working with precision, inspecting machined parts, and making sure quality standards are met? We are seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Itasca! This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment who is comfortable inspecting machined parts and using precision measuring tools. What You'll Do Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements. Use precision measuring tools including calipers, tape measures, and micrometers . Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings . Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts. Verify measurements and identify parts that do not meet specifications. Communicate quality concerns and discrepancies to the appropriate team members. Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation. Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to support quality standards. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, Machinist, or similar manufacturing role . Experience inspecting machined or fabricated parts preferred. Ability to accurately use calipers, tape measures, and micrometers . Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings . Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues. Comfortable working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with production and quality teams. Why This Opportunity?
