Gotion Inc. is based in Silicon Valley, CA, currently building a Manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and has R&D centers in Ohio, China, Japan and Europe. Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Quality Inspector to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all manufactured products meet strict quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail, combined with your expertise in quality systems and measurement tools, will help maintain our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment, supporting continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities (may include but not limited to): Perform thorough inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify conformance to specifications. Document inspection results meticulously, including data collection and analysis, to support quality assurance initiatives. Identify non-conformances and collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions aligned with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP protocols. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to improve product quality and process efficiency. Support internal and external quality audits by providing detailed reports and maintaining comprehensive records of inspection activities.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required Proven experience in manufacturing quality control or inspection roles within medium to high volume electrical related industries or medical devices or food production. Computer literacy in using Microsoft products Working knowledge of quality systems including
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, FDA
regulations, and CGMP standards. Hands-on experience using or operating precision measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Demonstrated ability to analyze data accurately, identify trends, and recommend process improvements. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for clear documentation and reporting.
