Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will ensure our stainless steel and alloy products meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in manufacturing quality control, hands-on experience with precision measuring tools, and material handling skills.
Key Responsibilities Quality Inspections:
Perform dimensional and visual inspections on stainless steel and alloy products using calipers and micrometers .
Standards Compliance:
Ensure all products, processes, and documentation align with
ISO 9001
Standards .
Documentation & Verification:
Review, verify, and confirm certifications and packing slips to guarantee accuracy.
Material Handling:
Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane to move, stack, and stage heavy alloy and stainless materials throughout the facility.
Reporting:
Document inspection results, identify defects, and confirm quantity of material received.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of quality control experience in a metal manufacturing, steel service center, or industrial environment.
Technical Skills:
Proven ability to read blueprints and accurately use calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Certifications/Standards:
Strong working knowledge of
ISO 9001
quality management systems.
Equipment Operation:
Prior experience operating both forklifts and overhead cranes is required . Attention to
Detail:
Excellent eye for detail with experience handling manufacturing paperwork like material test reports (MTRs), certs, and packing slips. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Opportunities for career growth within a stable, growing company.
