Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards by performing precise inspections, measurements, and assessments throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold the company's commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify product conformity. Perform dimensional measurements and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) analysis to ensure parts meet design requirements. Execute quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485
(medical devices), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations to verify compliance with regulatory standards. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and ensure all tools are within calibration limits for accurate inspection results. Document inspection findings accurately, compile data for trend analysis, and prepare detailed reports for management review. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly, recommend process improvements, and support root cause analysis efforts. Skills Extensive knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and regulatory compliance requirements such as FDA regulations and GMP guidelines. Proficiency in using measurement instruments including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other precision tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings. Experience conducting quality audits within manufacturing environments; familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and QA/QC processes. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using basic math skills; understanding of GD&T principles for precise analysis. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality standards in production, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments. Excellent analysis skills for identifying defects or deviations; capable of data collection and trend analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives. Pay:
From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
