Job Description
Work Location:
This role is fully on-site and requires daily in-person attendance. Duties Perform Dimensional Inspection on Laser Cut, Stamped, Machined, Fabricated, and Welded metallic and nonmetallic products using a variety of hand gages (caliper, micrometer, height gage, granite surface plates, functional gages, etc) and Coordinated Measuring machines (CMMs). Inspectors must be able to interpret drawing dimensions (including GD&T) and setup/program applicable equipment in order to perform measurements. Perform receiving inspections on goods/services including reviewing material certificates against drawing and specification requirements . Perform final inspections on finished product including the review and generation of documentation and records. Create records of inspection (paper and electronic) utilizing inspection software. Records may also include industrial standardized documents such as PPAP or First Article Inspection (AS9102) Logging activities in inspection utilizing Jobboss, an ERP system used at Laser Technologies. Participation within the Quality Management System including non-conformance, corrective actions, and internal audits. Performs other duties deemed necessary to support the Company's business operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; A.A. degree or higher is preferred. Experience in manufacturing or quality control may be used in lieu of High School Diploma orG.E.D. 3
years minimum experience in a manufacturing organization. Preference for experience in quality control or manufacturing roles where dimensional inspection was performed and/or a quality management system existed. Preference for previous experience using and programming CMM software (Inspec, Polyworks, CMM Manager, PC-DMIS, etc) Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined byITAR/EAR
regulations (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, Lawful Permanent Resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).Language:
