Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards through precise inspections, data analysis, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Conduct dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Perform quality audits and inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents accurately to facilitate proper quality control procedures. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to assess part conformity and identify deviations. Uphold compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 and IATF regulations. Collect, analyze, and document data related to quality metrics, non-conformances, and process performance for continuous improvement efforts. Support calibration activities for measuring instruments and ensure all tools meet calibration standards. Skills Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices within manufacturing environments, including QA/QC procedures. Proficiency in using measurement instruments such as gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision systems, and other precision tools. Familiarity with ISO and/or AS9100 standards Mechanical knowledge including blueprint interpretation, mechanical measurements, and understanding of manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret production documents and technical drawings accurately while applying GD&T principles. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
