Job Summary The Quality Management Systems Lead is responsible for leading, maintaining, and improving the organization's quality management system in compliance with
IATF 16949
2016, ISO 9001:2015 and
ISO14001
requirements. This role leads internal audit activities, supports external certification audits, manages quality system documentation, and works cross-functionally to drive corrective action and continuous improvement. The position requires strong knowledge of automotive quality systems, audit processes, electronic assembly processes, and IMDS requirements.

Maintain working knowledge of
IATF 16949
2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001 and applicable customer specific requirements via 'hands on' leadership. Organize, coordinate, and support internal quality management system audits, process/product audits and follow-up to close-out audits.
Champion / Manage
/ Support / Schedule
ISO9001/IATF16949 / ISO14001
external certification audits, internal audits, and related follow-up activities.
Lead / Train
internal auditors to ensure audit readiness and competency.
Manage / Support
process audits in coordination with Operations and Audit teams. Determine compliance with applicable procedures, policies, standards, and customer requirements.
Develop / Maintain
audit plans, schedules, and follow-up audits. Analyze audit results, summarize findings, and present recommendations to management. Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure audit nonconformances are properly addressed. Support teams with root cause analysis and corrective action development. Support departmental supervision in the development, implementation, and improvement of the quality management system. Supervise and maintain system documentation, ensuring accuracy, control, and compliance. Participate in and drive continuous improvement activities across organizational processes. Support use and maintenance of IMDS data and requirements, as applicable Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of Nidec Mobility which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and

Environmental Management Systems. Manage/Administer effective Compliant Pro QMS software as SME (subject matter expert) and support eQMS-related improvements Safety Committee participation utilizing Compliant Pro (in conjunction with the Facilities Manager as Chair). Develop, implement, and maintain quality policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with ISO, IATF, and other applicable standards. Manage QMS and EMS documentation, training materials, and adherence to documentation best practices, including customer satisfaction reporting. Maintain current knowledge of applicable government regulations and industry requirements. Monitor/Verify departmental performance against established quality metrics and objectives. Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior leadership. Serve as a resource for Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives, inquiries, and process improvements across all departments. Professional/Technical Experience, Skills and Education Bachelor degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, required. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (Compliant Pro is a plus) / Document Control , including
IATF 16949
2016 and
ISO 9001
2015, (ISO14001, a plus) with experience in the automotive industry, required. Lead Audit expertise, including internal audits, process/product audits, audit planning, audit execution, and support of external certification audits, required. Corrective action and root cause analysis skills, including verification of corrective action effectiveness and resolution of nonconformances, required. Knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes, including surface mount soldering, with the ability to evaluate process compliance and quality risk, preferred. Ability to lead people, set expectations, coach team members, and follow through on commitments Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, including the ability to train internal auditors, maintain system documentation, and support cross-functional continuous improvement, preferred. 3+ years' Quality Experience within manufacturing (electronics manufacturing a plus). Experience with Quality Core Tools - PPAPs, FMEA, SPC, Control Plan, Root Cause Analysis problem-solving, CAPA, nonconformities, complaints, document control, internal audits, or similar QMS processes High Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook. Ability to learn Proficiency with Compliant Pro application Knowledge of
ISO 14001 / IATF 16949, VDA
