Resume, Interview, E-Verify We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Test Technician will be responsible for testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and verifying cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and interconnect products to ensure they meet customer specifications, industry standards, and our quality requirements. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is ideal for someone with strong electrical/mechanical testing skills, attention to detail, and experience working with cable assemblies and wire harnesses. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical testing of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and related products according to customer drawings, specifications, and internal test procedures. Set up and operate test equipment, including network analyzers, pull testers, multimeters, hipot testers, and continuity testers. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical test failures and coordinate necessary rework or repairs. Inspect, test, and measure materials, assemblies, and finished products to verify conformance to requirements. Record accurate test results, maintain test logs, and prepare inspection reports. Identify and document non-conformances and verify corrective actions. Build, maintain, and troubleshoot test fixtures and equipment. Approve or reject finished products based on established specifications and test results. Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to quality and efficiency. Work closely with production and assembly teams to resolve quality and testing issues. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all applicable safety procedures and PPE requirements. Maintain current technical knowledge through training and industry resources. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cable assembly, wire harness manufacturing, and testing. 3+ years of experience with high-power or high-voltage products strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, customer specifications, and manufacturing/test documentation. Hands-on experience with hand tools, soldering equipment, electrical meters, and test equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to accurately document test results and findings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workmanship. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting quality and production requirements. Preferred Qualifications

Soldering Certification. Experience testing high-voltage or high-power cable assemblies. Experience working with ERP systems. Experience troubleshooting complex cable assemblies, wire harnesses, or interconnect products. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8-10 hours per day , on a manufacturing floor. Frequent use of hands and arms for operating test equipment, using hand tools, crimping, soldering, and performing detailed inspections. Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and fine motor skills. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and regularly handle up to 25 pounds . Ability to frequently bend, kneel, reach, twist, and stoop. Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and distinguish colors for wire identification, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to hear normal conversation, instructions, and safety alarms in a manufacturing environment. Ability to wear required PPE for the duration of the work shift, including safety glasses, ESD wrist straps, and hearing protection when required. Work Environment Primarily located on a light industrial manufacturing/production floor. Moderate to loud noise levels from machinery and test equipment. Regular exposure to soldering fumes, fluxes, and cleaning chemicals with appropriate ventilation and PPE. Temperature variations typical of a manufacturing facility. Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strict quality and safety standards. PPE is required in designated areas.
