Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented 3rd Shift Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. This role is vital in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analysis skills, experience with inspection and some knowledge with measuring instruments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes during the overnight shift, supporting continuous improvement and compliance. Schedule 3rd shift Monday-Friday 12:00AM-8:00AM mandatory OT on Saturday night (week starts Sunday 11:59pm) Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, and vision inspection systems (microscope) to verify product dimensions and specifications. Perform quality audits to ensure adherence to company standards. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for review and reporting purposes. Monitor manufacturing processes to identify deviations from quality standards and implement corrective actions as needed. Assist in the calibration and maintenance of measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Ensure that all products meet customer specifications through rigorous quality control procedures before release. Oversee product inspection of a few different areas of production. Other duties as assigned. Skills Skilled in using precision measuring instruments a plus. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for quality assurance purposes. Ability to perform detailed inspections using various measurement devices including micrometers and microscopes. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records of inspections and audits. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes through rigorous quality inspection standards during the third shift hours.
