Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for our steel fabrication facility located in Villa Park, IL. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. If you have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of steel fabrication products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards. Utilize measuring tools and equipment to assess dimensions, tolerances, and overall quality of fabricated components. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities. Complete First Article of Inspection Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Perform routine audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Assist in training team members on quality control procedures and best practices. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies. Qualifications Previous experience in quality control, preferably in steel fabrication or manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and measurement tools./ Calipers etc. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
