You will utilize advanced measurement tools to verify technical specifications, ensuring that every finished part meets rigorous quality standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections on coated components, verifying thickness, adherence, hardness, and surface finish against strict engineering requirements. Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to conduct accurate dimensional analysis and inspection set-ups. Maintain meticulous inspection logs and documentation, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting of quality metrics. Execute internal audits, including 5S, HSE, and QMS self-assessments, to drive continuous improvement across the production floor. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues, ensuring seamless workflow continuity and adherence to standard operating procedures. Manage the upkeep and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure consistent, reliable measurement results. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC-based data management systems. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex technical instructions. Must possess excellent visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish fine color differences and read small-print specifications. Demonstrated ability to handle precision-machined parts with high manual dexterity. Preferred Skills Prior experience with PVD, CVD, or similar industrial coating technologies.
