About the Opportunity Kelly has partnered with a precision manufacturing company specializing in custom metal fabrication, machining, and complex component production for a variety of industries. We're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality team and help ensure that products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards.Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform inspections following standardized methods and procedures. Visually inspect or measure parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments Check dimensions against blueprint or work order specifications. Assist in preparation of FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) for submission to customers, including ballooning prints and loading FAIR data into industry portal Maintain logs such as Nonconforming log, other data entry as required Ensure containment of suspect material/parts Support Final Inspection process, back upDesignated Quality Representative Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two year degree or technical training desirable but not required One to three years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing preferredJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic blueprint reading skills required At minimum a limited background with inspection equipment such as caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc. Ability to work individually, initially under supervision, or as part of a team Must have clear written, oral communication and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate or greater skills in Excel. Able to quickly learn specialized software programs Must be a quick learnerWhat We're Looking For:
