Quality Inspector Visual Inspection

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector - Visual Inspection to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards through precise visual assessments and measurements. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold the company's reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality production processes, utilizing advanced inspection tools and adhering to regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA regulations. Your proactive approach and keen eye for detail will drive continuous improvement in product quality and safety. Responsibilities Conduct thorough visual inspections of manufactured components and finished products using vision inspection systems, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and production specifications to verify conformance to quality standards Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other dimensional measurement tools to perform accurate dimensional assessments Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure parts meet precise specifications Perform regular quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and HACCP standards to identify areas for improvement Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings clearly and accurately for review Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and improve quality systems Qualifications Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on visual inspection and dimensional measurements Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP, FDA regulations, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production Familiarity with calibration and use of measuring instruments such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) Mechanical knowledge including blueprint interpretation, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and understanding of manufacturing processes Experience performing quality audits and working within ISO-certified quality management systems Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for continuous process improvement Basic math skills necessary for precise measurement calculations and data analysis Ability to operate precision measurement instruments confidently while adhering to safety protocols Join us in ensuring the highest standards of product quality!
