Job Description

Are you experienced in CMM programming / Operator / Calibration Tech Role and ready for a stable 1st shift opportunity? Quality Machine and Tool Works Inc. is hiring a CMM Programmer / Operator / Calibration Tech for a direct hire role with a well-established manufacturing company in Columbus, IN. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on programming / operation / calibration Tech role experience who takes pride in precision and quality. What You'll Do
  • Program, set up, and operate CMM equipment and software
  • Perform in-process and final inspections
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and 3D CAD models
  • Document inspection results (PPAP, FAI, SPC)
  • Use and calibrate precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Perform precision calibration of instruments and equipment according to procedures and standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and results in a timely manner per monthly schedule Gage Trak software
  • Daily gauge pulls for equipment cell set ups for manufacturing process
  • Identify and report quality concerns
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives / Process Audits What We're Looking For
  • CMM programming AND operating experience required
  • Experience with AIMS Modus , PC-DMIS, Calypso, CMM Manager, or similar inspection software preferred
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Prior manufacturing inspection or quality control experience
  • Familiarity with ISO or AS quality systems preferred
  • Metrology background and calibration experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair gauges, and electronic equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting at $25.00/hour or higher based on experience
  • Performance raises at 90 days, 1 year, and annually thereafter
