Job Description

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Temporary Quality Technician positions for a Manufacturing company. This is a Temporary job. !
Duties for this position include:
Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify product dimensions and tolerances Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records in accordance with company procedures Identify, investigate, and report quality concerns, defects, and non-conforming materials while recommending corrective actions Perform root cause analysis and assist with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes Conduct material and product audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and industry standards Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality trends and recommending process improvements Maintain compliance with all quality management systems, safety procedures, and company policies Compensation (USD): $25.00/hour
Schedule:
2nd Shift 2:45 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Temporary Assignment Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: Previous experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or in a manufacturing quality role preferred Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy Basic computer proficiency and experience maintaining electronic quality records Ability to communicate effectively with production teams and management
