Compensation:

$19 - $25 an hour (based on experience)

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM (some flexibility)

Note:

Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on production demands, business needs, or high-demand cycles. A different schedule may be required temporarily during training.

About the Position As a Quality Inspector in the aerospace manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring that precision-manufactured components meet rigorous quality standards, technical specifications, and customer requirements. You will inspect materials, components, and finished products individually, using a variety of inspection and measurement tools to verify dimensional accuracy, workmanship, and overall conformance. This is a highly detail-oriented position where precision matters . Many of the components we manufacture have tight tolerances and exacting specifications, requiring careful inspection and consistent attention to even the smallest details. Quality Inspectors are responsible for identifying defects or variations, documenting inspection results, and helping ensure that only conforming products move forward in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection & Testing:

Perform detailed inspections and tests on aerospace components and assemblies, including visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests, using a variety of precision instruments and tools.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality issues, and prepare detailed reports on findings, deviations, and corrective actions.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, AS9100D including

ISO 9001

2015), and internal quality management systems.

Defect Identification:

Identify and document defects or non-conformities, and work with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

Process Improvement:

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes. Provide feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.

Training & Support:

Assist in training new inspectors and production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures. Provide support and guidance to ensure adherence to quality practices.

Safety & Procedures:

Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of 1-3+ years of experience in quality inspection within aerospace or a related manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges), strong attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills. Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and quality control software. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members, engineers, and management. Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and perform other physical tasks associated with a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations is a plus. Ability to interpret engineering specifications and standards.
