Job Description

Hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift. 1st Shift - 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. 2nd Shift - 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, and measure materials and products for conformance to specifications. Measures dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. Read blueprints, work instructions, data, manuals or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, or measuring instruments required. Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content and quantities inspected or graded. Mark items with details such as graded or acceptance-rejection status. Notify lead or supervisor of inspection problems Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications. Collect or select samples for testing or for use as models as needed. Write test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed repairs. Repackage product according to packaging standards. Uses computer software to input data when necessary. Wears common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, fluorescent vests as required Preferred experience: 1 to 2 years of Quality Physical activities that are involved with the Quality Inspector position include: Standing Lifting 5-25lbs
