full-time Goyette Mechanical is a reputable mechanical contracting company specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. With a strong presence in the industry, Goyette Mechanical has been serving commercial, industrial, and residential clients for 98 years! The team is seeking multiple Commissioning Agents to support construction projects in Northwest Indiana. The Commissioning Agent Position The Commissioning Agent supports quality assurance and commissioning activities on active construction projects by verifying incoming equipment, inspecting installations, and documenting observations in Procore. The Commissioning Agent works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, Safety Technicians, and Commissioning Teams to identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and help ensure systems are installed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. This position is primarily field-based on active construction sites, with some time spent in an office or onsite job trailer performing administrative and project coordination tasks. Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Commissioning Agent Position 2-3+ years of HVAC/R, piping, plumbing, commissioning, mission-critical, or related construction experience preferred Prior construction commissioning and/or QA/QC experience. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Attention-to-detail, documentation clarity, and accuracy required Proficiency with Procore preferred Previous mission-critical or data center construction experience preferred Compensation and Benefits for the Commissioning Agent Position Goyette Mechanical provides a competitive compensation package that includes a generous salary with bonus potential.
