Monday•Friday, 6:00 AM•2:30 PM Job Summary Seeking a Quality Technician who is responsible for ensuring that all customized products meet company and customer quality standards for a manufacturing company specializing in prescription-based shoe soles and orthotic products. Each shoe sole is uniquely made to meet individual patient needs, requiring a high level of precision and attention to detail. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to inspect one-of-a-kind items accurately. The position involves inspecting materials, identifying defects, maintaining records, and supporting production teams to ensure consistent quality. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of customized shoe soles and components Verify each product meets individual specifications and prescription requirements Identify and document defects or quality issues Use measuring tools and equipment to ensure accuracy Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production staff Assist with corrective and preventive actions Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures Support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred Strong attention to detail, especially with one-of-a-kind products Ability to read and interpret work instructions and specifications Basic understanding of quality control processes Basic computer skills for documentation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing/production environment Standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs. as needed Use of hand tools and inspection equipment #Indy
