Quality Inspector (Long-Term Temporary)
Location:
Lafayette, IN Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM•3:30
PM Pay:
$23/hr.•40 hours wk.
Duration:
Approximately 3•6 Months Position Summary We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support a manufacturing facility's Incoming Quality Inspection team. This temporary assignment is expected to last approximately six months and is ideal for individuals with prior manufacturing quality experience who take pride in accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities:
Quality Inspector Perform incoming inspections on manufactured parts and materials. Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with established procedures. Complete first-level quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications. Assist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed. Maintain accurate inspection documentation. Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, and attendance expectations. Complete company-provided training on inspection procedures and product requirements.
Qualifications:
Quality Inspector 1-2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions and inspection procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience using basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) is a plus.
