Job Description

Job Overview- Schedule is Monday-Saturday 6a-630p. Must pass a 5 year background check and drug test. We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in dimensional measurements, quality systems, and inspection techniques will be vital in maintaining the integrity of our production processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with precision measuring instruments, and experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical specifications to verify compliance with design intent. Perform dimensional measurements and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) analysis to ensure parts meet specified tolerances. Execute quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, HACCP, FDA
regulations, and other regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and data collection for traceability and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions aligned with quality management systems. Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance. Support manufacturing processes by verifying adherence to quality standards in production and ensuring regulatory/legal compliance. Assist in the development and review of inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation. Participate in internal audits and external inspections to uphold certification standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Assurance professional within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency with measurement tools such as height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, GDMs (Gages), and vision inspection systems. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing quality systems. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and apply basic math skills effectively. Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments. Excellent analysis skills coupled with attention to detail; capable of identifying deviations from quality standards. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and document findings clearly.
