Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lab / Quality Control Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, entry-level position where 0 to 2 years of experience is preferred, but no extensive prior laboratory background is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate. The Lab / Quality Control Technician is responsible for supporting the research, development, testing, and continuous improvement of both existing and new product lines. This position will assist with product testing, evaluation, formulation, and reformulation to ensure products meet established quality, performance, and customer requirements. The position is also responsible for maintaining an organized and compliant laboratory in accordance with applicable industry standards, company procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory requirements. A key function of this role is maintaining the overall quality and consistency of the company's products and services. The Lab / Quality Control Technician will work with production and other departments to identify quality concerns, document testing and results, and help ensure products consistently meet established specifications. Essential Functions & Responsibilities 1. Conduct Laboratory Inspections
  • Perform laboratory inspections and quality checks at prescribed intervals to ensure established quality standards are consistently maintained. 2. Customer Quality Support
  • Assist with customer concerns, complaints, and quality-related inquiries when necessary, including helping investigate potential product quality issues. 3. Regulatory Compliance
  • Help ensure laboratory and quality-control activities comply with applicable regulatory, statutory, safety, and company requirements. 4. Retain Sample Management
  • Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of product retain samples, including proper identification, storage, and recordkeeping. 5. Measuring & Testing Equipment
  • Maintain laboratory measuring and testing instruments and ensure required calibration activities and records are completed and maintained. 6. Product & Quality Testing
  • Perform experiments, product stability testing, and quality-control studies as required. Accurately document observations, measurements, and test results. 7. Research & Product Development
  • Assist with researching, developing, testing, and formulating new compounds and products, as well as evaluating and reformulating existing products when necessary. 8. Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist with developing, maintaining, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), laboratory testing procedures, and experimental protocols. 9. Safety Data Sheets
  • Maintain and update Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information and related laboratory documentation. 10. Quality Assurance
  • Identify and communicate products, test results, or processes that do not meet established specifications or quality requirements and assist with appropriate corrective actions. 11. Laboratory Organization & Safety
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
Follow established procedures for the proper handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of laboratory materials.
Qualifications Experience Baseline:
0 to 2 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control setting. High school diploma, Associate's degree, or a recently completed Bachelor of Science (Biology, Chemistry, or related field) is preferred.
Technical Prerequisites:
Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn basic lab benchwork skills (such as pipetting, sample preparation, and utilizing analytical balances) and aseptic handling techniques.
Pay:
$17.00
