Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, nonconformities, or deviations from quality standards. Document inspection results clearly and accurately by writing detailed reports on findings. Troubleshoot and help determine root causes when parts are found out of specification, collaborating with the quality team and production as needed. Work within the quality department to evaluate whether nonconforming parts can be reworked or must be scrapped. Support and, in the future, perform measurements using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to verify complex dimensions and geometries. Assist with testing and calibration activities for measurement tools and equipment when time allows.
