US Rod in Nappanee, Indiana is sourcing for a Quality Technician Inspector. The morning shift position works 5AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday. Specific Responsibilities Perform material and product tests using quality lab test equipment and formal testing methods. Perform in-process audits and internal audits to verify standard operating procedures are being followed. Maintain quality records and samples per written procedures. Work with production supervisors within a team environment in meeting customer quality requirements and solve quality issues. Communicate effectively with all manufacturing personnel, next shift personnel and others in a professional manner. Assist Quality Manager as directed. Prepare records, reports and enter data to provide documentation and to support Quality department. Education and Training High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Experience working in an
API Q1/ISO 9001
2015 environment a plus. Knowledge and Skills Excellent verbal communication skills. Possess basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Able to follow instructions.
