What You' ll DoInspect incoming wood veneer sheets for defects such as knots, blemishes, grain inconsistencies, damage, and size variationsVerify veneer matches the specified wood species and grain patternsMeasure and assess material using specialized inspection toolsRepair imperfections using a hand sander and wood puttyCheck your own work against work instructions and quality standardsReport defective materials or questionable conditions to your supervisorMeet and maintain production levels while completing required production formsFollow lockout/tagout and all safety procedures, and keep your work area and equipment clean and organizedPitch in across other areas as neededWhat You BringA sharp eye for detail and a commitment to qualityA team-oriented attitudeSolid time management to keep pace with production goalsAbility to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
