Quality Assurance Specialist Second Shift

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to play a critical role in maintaining the safety and quality of our products. This position works closely with Technical Services Management and Operations to ensure our high standards are met at all times.

Shift:

Second Shift starts at 3:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Monitor and test food products and packaging for quality control throughout pre-production, production, and post-production. Escalate any quality concerns to management as needed. Conduct quality control testing for hot-fill products, inspecting for defects and documentation accuracy. Prevent cross-contamination and ensure adherence to food safety protocols. Maintain thorough knowledge of GH FSQ Policies and coach employees on deviations. Properly use sampling, weighing, metal detection, and temperature monitoring equipment to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills Good communication and collaboration abilities Ability to handle high-stress and changing situations Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in hot conditions and standing for extended periods Able to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, climbing, and working near moving mechanical parts Exposure to food-grade chemicals and moderate noise levels

Pay:

From $19.00 per hour
