Job DescriptionUltra Electronics, ICE is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing operations team to inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work. Hours for this position are typically Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect products using gauges, calipers, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision.

Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; and communicating findings to supervisor.

Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; and confirming re-work.

Document inspection results by completing checklists, reports, and logs; summarizing re-work and scrap; inputting data into quality database.

Verify quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Packages items and prepares them for outbound shipping.

Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

Any other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Mechanical aptitude

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
